Lenovo Vibe X2 unveiled as Lenovo's new flagship phone.
Lenovo at the IFA claims to be the world's fourth largest phone manufacturer and a leader in innovation. At the said event the company made a great leap of innovation on its two flagship phones the Lenovo Vibe X2 and Lenovo Z2.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 has a 5-inch full HD screen and has a 64-bit octacore processor. Battery life has been improved by 20% and it's a perfect device for watching live streaming, web browsing or basically multitasking! Its battery is at 2,300mAh unit and the Lenovo Vibe X2 weighs at120g and extremely thin at just 7.27mm.
It boasts the "layered design" a new innovation in design and style that sets apart the Lenovo Vibe X2 from other Android phones. It will launch in five colors: charcoal, gold, white, red and bamboo.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 also sports a MediaTek octa-core processor and a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5- megapixel on the front. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with Lenovo's latest Vibe 2.0 UI that allows a more responsive screen and quick access to apps.
'Selfie phones' has been the highlight of some phones at IFA,but Lenovo made it exceptional. Lenovo Vibe X2 is packed with a clear view camera and boasts a new application called 'beautification bar," which Lenovo says makes your selfies more beautiful, and "natural gestures," which let you take a selfie by blinking, showing a victory sign or saying "cheese," for example..
The Vibe X2 will launch with two phone-specific extensions including a JBL audio speaker, and an extension battery.
Lenovo also launched its Vibe Z2 with 5.5-inch Full HD display and an 8-megapixel front camera and one on the rear has a 13-megapixel sensor. It weighs 5.6 ounces and is 0.3 of an inch thin; it, too, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 and Lenovo Vibe Z2 be available in China starting in October, and will then spread to markets in Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The price for the Vibe X2 is $399, and the Vibe Z2 will retail for $429.
