Get your hands on with the new Motorola Moto 360!

Motorola has finally launched its Android wearable device. The company didn't follow the mainstream and made an exceptional design on its wearable device.

The Moto 360 features a round screen, metal case and leather band.

Christoph Jeneba, Motorola's head of product for Europe, Middle East and Africa, explained to the Guardian, "We think the key to getting people to buy smartwatches is to build a watch first, a smartwatch second,"

He added, "That's why we've built a time piece, and it had to be round because 85% of normal watches are round.".

The Moto 360 weighs 49g (1.72oz) and 46mm (1.81-inch) diameter and 11mm (0.43-inch).

The Moto 360 is packed with a heart rate monitor on the back of the watch, that can measure the wearer's heart rate 30 times a day to track heart health .It also measures the wearer's activity, steps and distance covered.

Moto 360 features 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage and a TI OMAP 3 processor which gives its competitors as they are port with Snapdragon 400 chipset.

Rick Osterloh, the company's president said that they made a clear improvement against their competitors.

"I think the first watches that shipped have been really bad," he said

. "A number of manufacturers were willing to ship products that I felt were not appropriate for consumers. The biggest problem consumers said they had with them was that they really didn't look appealing. The difference in our initial approach has been to focus on that problem and solve it."

He also emphasized, "It's quite concerning to me that in the early days some of the first watches maybe gave the category a bad edge. We believe our product will be on the new wave of offerings."

The Motorola Moto 360 has its exceptional design like the LG G Watch R, but its competitors has its own advantages and unique features too. It will be launch in the US at the end of September for $249.
