International ‘Dracula Untold' Trailer, Release Date Moved Up By A Week: Movie Delayed Until Oct. 17 Because Of Release Of Another Hollywood Film Starring Brad Pitt? Luke Evan Discusses Sequel

| By

With the premier of the international "Dracula Untold" trailer, release date moved to apparently keep away from another epic war film; fans of this action horror have only almost a month left to wait for the big screen debut.

Originally slated for release on October 10, Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures decide to bump up "Dracula Untold" to October 17.

Speculations on the date change are blamed on "Dracula Untold" coinciding with the release of another Hollywood film with headliner Brad Pitt. Thewrap.com explains: "With Universal and Legendary's smart decision to move 'Dracula' to Oct. 10, the film will face easier competition."

"Dracula Untold" is written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and directed by newcomer Gary Shore. Luke Evans portrays Count Dracula.

A new UK "Dracula Untold" trailer has been released online, although it generally runs the same boat with the Japan and first release, the UK trailer retains the image of Dracula as the soldier and fighter - more of the hero - other than the monster that is usually depicted in Dracula films.

Screenrant.com interviews lead cast member Evans as he hints for a possible sequel to the movie, hints on the movie's ending, and expresses how, that if there's a sequel, he's probably going to be in it.

Luke Evans explains: "If you're going to start a story anyway you gotta start at the beginning and so you could go anywhere with Dracula right now. After this movie finishes the story finishes in a very, it's like an open book where can he go. He's immortal, so it could go anywhere. There's a lot of discussions about that so it's very exciting and I'm very much involved in the whole thing."

Although "Dracula Untold" trailer, release date news abound online, one thing is certain: there's less time to wait to experience another story of Dracula.
