Elsa and Anna are set to make a return on big screen with their "Frozen" movie sequel "Frozen Fever".
Loved characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf will reunite in this short film, which is rumored to be released next spring.
The plot of the movie is so simple, yet what we have to watch for are the twists.
"It's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk," according to Disney's statement.
There is no word from Disney Studio if stars Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), and Josh Gad (Olaf) will still reprise their roles for the sequel.
The short film will be produced by Peter Del Vecho, who will also work with directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck. The three were also responsible for the success of best animated feature and best music Oscar awardee "Frozen".
"Frozen Fever" will also feature a new song from Oscar award-winning duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
"Frozen" movie has already earned an estimated amount of over $1.2 worldwide. It was released on November 22 last year, and since then dubbed as the most successful film of all time.
In "Frozen" fearless and witty Anna teams up with Kristoff in a race to find her sister, Queen Elsa. They are joined by Olaf, a hilarious snowman who will help them along the journey. Elsa's power of ice has trapped their kingdom in almost eternal winter and isolation. And it is their duty to bring the kingdom back to its normal life.
There are reports that Disney will also release next spring films "Tomorrowland" with George Clooney, Pixar's "Inside Out", and "Cinderella".
