Could the BlackBerry Passport release be the passport of the smartphone company to get back its lost glory?
There was a time when BlackBerry dominated and controlled the smartphone market, making huge sales, inviting other mobile companies to be more innovative. But those days were gone.
Over the years, when competitors came in to the picture, it resulted in a significant loss of sales for BlackBerry. After some time now, BlackBerry has been knocked off with many smartphones, cheaper and more expensive alike.
And now, battling with cheaper and Android-powered smartphones and expensive Apple's iPhones, BlackBerry will unveil its latest and probably the greatest mobile phone: the BlackBerry Passport.
The Blackberry Passport release date is rumored to be in September 24 in an event in London, Dubai, and Toronto.
The newest device has a block-squared design, which will be competing in the market dominated with slim and curvy smartphones.
