A photo taken in the event shows Shakira holding her 19-month-old son, Milan, allegedly reveals a pregnancy glow.
During an interview at Fox News Latino Colombian singer Carlos Vives , a close friend of Shakira, said; 'Yes, she is pregnant and she's very happy.'
She didn't confirm or denied that statement and remained silent.
More than a week ago she and boyfriend Gerard Pique did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. We didn't notice any baby bump because she wore a loose T-shirt. To those who watched the video they claimed that the rumors weren't true.
After being ignoring all the rumors, the Colombian international singer broke her silence by confirming on her Twitter that she and boyfriend Gerard Pique are expecting their second baby. She even thanked her fans for all the well wishes.
"Yes, we are expecting our second baby!! Thank you all for your well wishes", Shakira on Twitter.
Well, this is what Shakira wants anyway. In an interview last year she admitted that she wanted to have lots of children.
"If it weren't because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard - my own futbol team," she said.
She also said that her son helped her focus on what's important.
'I used to go in circles around an idea, but since he arrived I don't have much time - I have to rush back home - so he has helped me learn how to focus. When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world. You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel.'
Shakira will be the cover of the Spanish version of Cosmopolitan in their September issue. The magazine teased a full interview of the couple and revealed that they're expecting a baby boy.
