Miley Cyrus news about her generosity to her homeless MTV Video Music Awards' date has been making rounds.
Jesse Helt seems to have found home when the Queen of Twerk reportedly asked him to live with her.
According to the source of the Daily Star newspaper, "This is all part of Miley's reinvention. Her mom Tish brought in a new team of advisors to give her a make-over after she lost a lot of support with her extreme antics and sexy performances...Taking him [Jesse] as her date to the VMAs worked really well for her and she wanted to help Jesse in other ways."
At the VMA, Helt accepted the Video of the Year Award on Cyrus' behalf and apparently took advantage of the moment to air his cause.
"I am accepting this award on behalf of the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving, lost, and scared for their lives right now," Helt said. "I know this because I am one of these people," said Helt at the event.
The source also said that ''he's being given top treatment at Miley's home by a team of staff doing his laundry and cooking for him. She now wants to be seen making a difference.''
Cyrus and Helt met each other through My Friend's Place, a Hollywood homeless center.
Days after the heartwarming speech, which made everyone watching cry, E! News reported that there was an impending warrant of arrest "in Oregon for probation violation, stemming from previous charges including criminal trespassing and criminal mischief."
It was also reported that on Thursday night, Helt turned himself in at the Polk County Jail in Dallas and posted bail for $2,500.
ABC 13 reported that Trevor Neilson, the president of G2 Investment Group and co-founder of Global Philanthropy Group said in an email that "Miley Cyrus will be assisting him with this process, and they both are committed to working to help the other 1.6 million youth who experience homelessness in America each year."
