In a recent leaked photo scandal, alleged nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and other female celebrities have been finding their light over the weekend.
"It's so weird and hard how people take your privacy away from you," Academy Award winner Lawrence said in a tweet on Sunday on the purportedly leaked photos.
Alleged photos of Lawrence, along with other celebrities like Rihanna, have surfaced online, which made many to speculate that this is some kind of massive celebrity hacking leak.
A spokesperson for Lawrence told E! News in a statement on Sunday that "the authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence" as "this is a flagrant violation of privacy."
E! Online reported that there are several other photos of women who are either naked or scantily-clad that are making rounds online. Some of them resemble Kirsten Dunst, Krysten Ritter, Teresa Palmer, Becca Tobin and Hope Solo.
Other media reports said that Hillary Duff, Jenny McCarthy, Kaley Cuoco, Kate Bosworth, Keke Palmer, and Kim Kardashian were also in target of this leaked photo scandal.
According to Mashable, other celebrities who were linked to leaked photo scandal were Avril Lavigne, Amber Heard, Gabrielle Union, and Hayden Panettiere.
They have not yet commented on the issue. It is also unclear if these leaked photos are authentic.
Meanwhile, singer Victoria Justice tweeted: "These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended*"
Mary Winstead, whose name is also dragged to this leaked photo scandal, has something to say: "To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves." She added that these photos "were deleted long ago."
According to Mashable, other celebrities who were linked to leaked photo scandal were Avril Lavigne, Amber Heard, Gabrielle Union, and Hayden Panettiere.
A rep for pop star Ariana Grande told BuzzFeed that the leaked photos of her are "completely fake."
Few years ago, Scarlette Johansson and Mila Kunis were also victimized by leaked photo scandal. Their accounts online were hacked and their private photos were posted online. In 2012, the man behind this was sentenced to 10-year imprisonment.
