Joan Rivers Condition: Comedian Under Life Support! Daughter Melissa Is In Denial Of Mother's Condition!

| By

Joan Rivers is currently on life support, and sources say that the comedian is fully dependent on the hospital machines to stay alive.

Reports say that Rivers' whole family have been continuing to hold prayer vigils for her at the Manhattan Hospital, they are reportedly asking for guidance as to whether they should continue her life support, or turn the machines off. They are rumored to be increasingly hopeful that Joan will pull through should they decide to turn the machines off.

It was previously reported that Joan Rivers was rushed to a hospital in New York City after she seized breathing during a scheduled throat surgery. During procedure, Rivers reportedly stopped breathing suddenly, and surgeons panicked. Reports say that an emergency call to 911 was placed at around 9:39 in the morning, where the caller said, ""We have somebody in either cardiac or respiratory arrest." - meaning at one point, Joan's heart actually stopped beating.

Rivers was taken from Yorkville Endoscopy, where she was undergoing her procedure, to Mount Sinai hospital, during which she was under cardiac arrest.

It is still unclear whether the state of the 81-year old comedian is even possible to get out of. Spectators have said that her respiratory and cardiac arrest is probably due to the fact that the entertainer has undergone too many surgeries on her body, most notably her face, which caused her lungs and heart to weaken over a period of time. And this time, it finally took it's toll.

Joan's daughter Melissa, is reportedly "in denial" over Joan's condition. A source said that "She still thinks everything is going to be OK. She is refusing to admit that a world might exist without her mother in it. Others that are close to Joan are starting to realize that the outcome they want is very unlikely."

Celebritites from all over Hollywood have been very public about their prayers and support going out to Joan and her family in this very trying time.
