Britney Spears and boyfriend David Lucado have split up!
This news have been confirmed by the "Keep on Dancing 'til the World Ends" pop star via her twitter account saying: "Ahhhh the single life!" This tweet was also confirmed by her representative, saying: "Yes, she is single."
Britney has been reportedly staying calm and collected as much as she can for the sake of her twins, she did not say anything about it when it actually happened, and instead kept, and still keeps her focus on her twins and on her show in the city of lights, Las Vegas.
Sources say that the break up was due to a video that Spears saw of Lucado cheating on her, allegedly making out with another woman and dancing with her in a club somewhere in NYC. The video was allegedly shot in early August in what seemed to be the mistress' living room.
"She is heartbroken. She is in Vegas. But she will get through it. She's a strong girl and he was never right for her," according to the source.
Despite initial rumors of the couple breaking up last month, Britney and David have managed to steer the media away from the subject by showing up in public together, and looking as happy as ever.
In a previous interview from a source last 2013, the pop star said that she's "In love", "I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways. He's just a simple man. I adore him. He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious."
In another interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Britney said about her then beau: "I just love that he's very passionate and he's funny and he's sexy and I don't know I like him. I just love him"
These statements clearly are now hard to believe to be truthful, considering the sudden breakup. Then again, David Lucado might have just really shocked Britney with his cheating allegations and Briney, a woman of power, simply cannot forgive that enough to continue with their long-term relationship.
