Fannibals, hold on to your seat and make sure you don't break the things near you with this new Hannibal Season 3 Spoiler. Alright, this is not really a spoiler but the thought of this happening is enough to make everyone feel excited. The NBC show might welcome a familiar addition, that is if you have followed the Thomas Harris books and films that the series was based from.
E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos wrote that Jodie Foster, known to Hannibal fans as Clarice Sterling in the 1991 movie The Silence of the Lambs, 'might' be coming to the show. Sterling is a young FBI trainee who worked with Hannibal Lecter (played then by Anthony Hopkins) to capture another killer called Buffalo Bill.
According to Entertainment website, Foster was approached by Hannibal executive producer Bryan Fuller during Emmy's after party and asked if the veteran actress can join them for a directing job. Fuller even tweeted a photo of him and Foster with the caption "WHEN #HANNIBAL WORLDS COLLIDE"

At last night's HBO Emmy party, I just so happened to overhear the genius showrunner ask the original Hannibal movie star if she would be willing to come and direct the series during its third season, which is set to begin production next week.
Jodie was noncommittal, but said she'd think it over, so...Fingers crossed, Fannibals! We'll probably never see Clarice Starling (Foster's big-screen role) on the NBC TV show, but having her behind the camera would be sort of epic in its own right, right?
If you are a die hard fan, you won't probably care about any new Hannibal Season 3 spoilers that will come in the future. Jodie Foster is the best that you can have. Having Foster aboard is the most epic thing that can happen on the show. The 51-year old actress received several nomination for her role as Clarice Sterling, including Academy Award for Best Actress and Golden Globe Best Actress.
By now, just keep your fingers crossed and pray that the next Hannibal Season 3 spoiler will include a name Jodie Foster, either as a director as a recurring character.
