There's no new Gotham spoilers coming out over the past weeks. Meanwhile, enjoy the 21-minute preview that the show provided to its fans. Gotham creators and actors used this preview to talk about the characaters and basically everything a "prequel" entails in the new FOX show. Among those who were in the video are Ben McKenzie who will play lead character young Ben Gordon, Jada Pinket Smith who plays Fish Mooney, and executiv producer Danny Cannon who asked the biggest question of all, "Who are the supervillains in the city and how did they become that way?"
If you can't answer that question, check out this semi Gotham spoiler shared to Fred Topei of Moviepilot.com by Cory Michael Smith who will play the villain Riddler. When asked if Edward Nygma, Riddler's alter ego, was a CSI in the police department, Smith says it is not possible.
I don't believe so. I think that was completely new to the series. Certainly not that I have read, and I don't believe. I think that is a new circumstance that Bruno and Danny created. I think it's fantastic. I'm stoked about it, because starting as far away from The Riddler as possible, to actually be working alongside the good guys is further to go. To have positive intentions and want to be helping the good guys is fun. I hope he stays there for a little bit.
Knowing that his role is not like what he has done in his young career, Smith bared that he is intensely studying Riddler that he is even paying for some materials. On the same interview, the 27-year old actor said that he is currently working with Riddler's biggest fan.
There is a man that is self-proclaimed the biggest fan of the Riddler. There's a website called TheRiddleFactory.com and I can't endorse that on Fox/Warner Bros.' behalf or anything, but the man who runs that very enthusiastically wrote to me the day that my casting was announced. He and I have been in contact and chatted. He's been a huge resource for me in terms of guiding me on how best to research and study The Riddler in a very cool way.
Knowing that an actor is fully dedicated to his craft definitely better than any Gotham spoiler you crave for. Way to go, Cory.
