It has been over three decades since Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones Jr. was first introduced to an eager and excitable audience. George Lucas again brings "Indiana Jones" to the widescreen.
There has been no mention of another installment of "Indiana Jones" until a tease back in 2008 Cannes Film Festival from "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" cast Shia LaBeouf, suggesting that he was to be the new Indiana. Six years after out of nowhere, rumors of the fifth installment circled online.
As for "Indiana Jones" 5 talks, Karen Allen (who plays Marion Ravenwood) speaks with Movies.com and shares that everyone is onboard for a fifth installment.
"I would! And I in fact, just talked with Steven Spielberg recently - we e-mailed back and forth, and I said, 'What should I say? I'm doing this publicity, what should I say if people ask me that question?' And he said, 'It's in George's hands! I'm game, Harrison's game, and now it's up to George to write the script or to get the script organized, and the story'", Allen shares.
She goes on to explain, "And so I think it's - they want to do a fifth, from what I understand, but the don't want to do it just to do it, they want to do it if they can come up with a story that everybody is happy with and that everybody likes."
So far, there has been no update on the progress of "Indiana Jones" 5, apart from the speculations about casting. "Indiana Jones" 5 spoilers on plot, casting and other crucial information have not been released officially.
Since Lucas is currently quite busy with another equally successful franchise, production date has not been finalized as everybody is waiting on a story still. With this in mind, lead actor of the "Indiana Jones" franchise Harrison Ford is already 72 years old. He will have to wait a few years more to play "Indiana", and all the action scenes may not be suitable for a man his age.
News of another actor, Bradley Cooper is reportedly being eyed to reprise the role of Ford. "Indiana Jones" 5 spoilers online are simply fan-based speculations.
