Justin Bieber might face another lawsuit after he allegedly ordered his bodyguard to take a paparazzi's camera. The 'Boyfriend' singer was vacationing in Hawaii last year, at Shipwreck Beach in Kauai when he launched off a rock and photographer Aja Oxman snapped a photo of it.
This led the Canadian singer to send his bodyguard, identified as Dwayne Patterson, to grab Oxman's camera, ordering him to "do whatever you have to do to get that [memory] card."
According to Oxman, the bodyguard put him in a chokehold, picked him up and slammed him onto a hood of a vehicle, roughing him and his gear as Bieber watched on. Patterson allegedly loosened his grip on Oxman when a second photographer took a video of the incident on his mobile phone. "You think I'm that stupid to get caught by one of your little phone cameras?" the suit quotes Patterson as saying.
Levi Lancaster, a resident of Kauai says watched as the photographers ran from the beach to the parking lot as the guards chased them. Lancaster claims (Via thegardenisland.com) that he "put the man in a headlock and lifted him off the ground until he dropped his camera and keys. . . [Oxman] was really calling for help."
"I went there to see if I could get a better look at Justin Bieber and his security choked out one of the picture guys," said Koloa resident Levi Lancaster. "It wasn't just some random guy. It was for sure Justin Bieber's security."
"How can you go out to Shipwreck's and not expect people to take pictures?" added Lancaster.
Bodyguard Patterson was arrested on scence for third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal property damage. He was released after posting a $3,000 bail.
Here's the official complaint filed by Oxman's attorney, Sark Onahian:

The Justin Bieber lawsuit, which seeks damages for assault and battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress, doesn't claim that Bieber participated in attacking Oxman, it alleges Bieber helped in destroying Oxman's property.
