There's been quite a bit of hype about the Samsung Galaxy S5 in recent weeks. When the company announced that it was going to debut the new phone at an event during the 2014 Mobile World Congress, rumors began to fly. It's said that the new phone features a built-in fingerprint scanner and a larger display. In fact, leaked photos revealed that the new phone also sports a strongly dimpled back.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is going up against the Apple iPhone 6 in the long-term. That said, the earlier debut is likely to give the smartphone the edge it needs in order to successfully compete. Not only that, but rumors have speculated that the Galaxy S5 may actually have better features than the iPhone 6. Whether or not that's true, though, remains to be seen.
