Previous online sightings of the Microsoft Xbox One game console media remote indicating a March 4 release date are true.
"The team is working hard to deliver some exciting updates in March that will make Xbox One even better. But in order to ensure our customers have the best experience on Xbox One and Xbox Live, we need the help of our passionate community," Larry Hryb of Microsoft told Game Zone.
Particular people will be able to try out the remote in the coming week. They will also receive privileges to give input and thoughts on the remote's aspects through an online forum when they sign up.
Internet scrollers first noticed signs indicating the remote's possible release via a site on Amazon's web page in Canada.
The site gave consumers the option to order the remote ahead of its March 4 release date Engadget reported. Posts were also made to user produced website Reddit, and on Google as an archive.
The page also had a remote with the Xbox gaming system's infamous "X" logo in the top front, along with multiple buttons, but appeared to be removed shortly after it was discovered CNET reported.
The information reportedly indicated consumers would be able to purchase the remote separately from the game console for $24.99 in canadian currency or $22.69 in United States currency beginning March 4, Engadget reported.
Consumers will be able use the remote with Xbox One's improved kinect sensor, which enables players to operate the device just by talking. Individuals can also connect the console to their satellite television equipment in order to watch TV, and flip back and forth between gaming, and viewing shows CNET reported. The Xbox 360 can also do the same.
The game console is the company's latest release since it launched its Xbox 360 in 2005, and follows Sony's PlayStation 4 game console a week prior Nov. 22.
PlayStation 4 has eight x86 CPU-codes titled Jaguar, and is manufactured from Advanced Micro Devices according to Network World. It also comes equipped with upgraded graphics co-processors capable of handling 1.84 teraflops of performance according to information from Tech Hive.
