Chris Brown went on a Twitter rant to defend Nicki Minaj's boyfriend, Meek Mill after authorities found out he broke parole to attend the American Music Awards (AMAs).
Sometimes all a man needs is a friend to defend him - and that's exactly what Chris Brown did after Meek Mill was summoned before a judge for breaking his parole to be with Nicki Minaj during the AMAs. By law, Meek Mill was not supposed to cross state lines without the permission of his parole officer.
Chris Brown went on a Twitter rant on Dec. 18, firing shots over many things such as the American court system and the government.
"Wish the judge could see the influence meek mill can have out of jail more than in it. Y'all wanna lock him up but what about FREDDIE GRAY?" Chris Brown wrote on Twitter. "The system is set on bullshit. The DAs and JUDGES get just as high as the next man and fuck people's lives up!"
The 26-year-old R&B artist also alleged that the government is trying to take away guns from ordinary people to impose "martial law."
"U think the people are gonna keep sitting around and letting this bullshit ride? Y'all wanna take guns away so y'all can inforce martial law," he wrote.
"We act like this country hasn't been run off drug money and corrupt officials. The whole history of Miami is based off of cocaine. OPEN YOUR (eyes)," Chris Brown continued.
Before Chris Brown's Twitter rant, Meek Mill's fiancé, Nicki Minaj posted a sexy photo on Instagram, appearing to wear a gift from the rapper.
"Babe, thanks but I think I need a bigger size," Nicki Minaj wrote, wearing super tight underwear.
On Dec. 11, Nicki Minaj recently stood before a judge to testify for Meek Mill after the AMAs. During her time on the stand, the "Anaconda" rapper told the judge that she was helping the rapper in following the rules that come with his parole.
"He's not perfect, but I can't believe how much he's changed," Nicki Minaj told the judge. "He doesn't have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible."
"Since I've come in his life, I think I've been working on that a little bit. He's just getting accustomed to being an adult," Minaj added.
