Fifth Harmony is renowned for their high-spirited and tireless performances during concerts and shows but in a recent interview, 5H members Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Lauren Jauregui revealed that they listen to artists like Justin Bieber and Drake to pump them up before shows.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Fifth Harmony members revealed that they listen to Christmas music, Justin Bieber's 2011 Christmas album "Under the Mistletoe," to prepare and energize them before their concerts and shows.
"For the holidays honestly, Justin Bieber's Christmas album is fire!" Camila Cebllo told Teen Vogue. "I listened to it while in Miami a day ago, and my sister and I were setting up the Christmas tree and just literally played all of Justin Bieber's Christmas album."
Cabello also praised Bieber's originally composed songs for his Christmas album, saying it's risky for artists to make original songs, instead of just covering classic holiday hits.
"He has a really, really good Christmas album," Ally Brooke Hernandez agreed, to which Camila replied, "'Mistletoe' is a great song!"
Lauren Jauregui, on the other hand, said that to prepare her for concerts, she listens to some big names in rap and R&B. She said, "For me, for concert preparation, I personally go towards Nicki Minaj, Drake. I honestly have Drake on repetition all the time, especially Drake and Future's album, well mix tape that just dropped. And also Kehlani."
While Fifth Harmony revealed that they listen to some big names in the music industry to help them prepare for concerts, they are also making a name for themselves in the industry.
Recently, they were recognized and awarded as Group of the Year at the Billboard Women in Music Event.
"Honored is probably the biggest understatement of all time. Thank you for naming us female group of the year @billboard! Diverse female representation is so important and being recognized amongst a group of women we admire was an experience we will never forget," Fifth Harmony posted in Instagram (via Latin Post).
