Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are really getting serious in their relationship.
It's been only over a month since the couple confirmed that they are dating; and now they are ready to meet each other's family.
According to PEOPLE, the 39-year-old country singer introduced his girlfriend to his mom Dorothy during a recent trip to his hometown in Oklahoma. Just recently, it was the 46-year-old singer's turn to introduce her boyfriend to her dad Dennis.
"Blake helped Gwen's dad around the house," an insider said. "They seemed very friendly and like they were getting along great."
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani both ended their marriage to their respective partners. "The Voice" got divorced from Miranda Lambert last July while the No Doubt lead singer announced her divorce from Gavin Rossdale two weeks later.
"They've been able to support and relate to each other and have gotten through a very difficult and now triumphant time in their lives," an insider revealed.
After meeting each other's parents, Blake has now taken the initiative to hang out with Gwen's youngest son Apollo. The new couple was spotted enjoying lunch at Loteria Grill in Los Angeles a few days ago.
According to Mail Online, it was another sign that they are taking their relationship to the serious level as they look forward to celebrating their first Christmas together. Maybe they are now ready to spend a special occasion together unlike last Thanksgiving Day.
The "Used To Love You" hitmaker reportedly ditched her boyfriend on November 26 to be with her family. According to Page Six, Stefani spent the holiday at her parent's home together with her three sons. Her estranged husband was allegedly there as well despite their divorce.
While Gwen Stefani had a great time with her family, Blake Shelton seemed to feel bitter celebrating on his own and took social media to express his feelings. "Happy thanksgiving everybody!!!! And to any haters out there, have yourselves a nice warm slice of I don't give a shit..." he wrote on Twitter.
