And if you are thinking that US President Barack Obama and Bear Grylls will never cross path, you are very wrong.
Obama will go on a survival adventure in the Alaskan Wilderness with Grylls, a famous survival expert, on an episode of the hit reality TV show "Running Wild With Bear Grylls."
The said show aired on NBC at 10 pm, ET Thursday night.
"President Obama will meet with Grylls while visiting Alaska to observe the effects of climate change on the area," said in a statement by NBC, noted by Newsweek.
According to NBC News, the episode was filmed last September.
The episode is part of Obama's ongoing campaign to further push and highlight the effects of climate change, while showing the more adventurous side of the president.
Expect some unbelievable activities during the episodes - ones that you would never imagine a US president would do.
In this episode, you will get to see Barack Obama and Bear Grylls eat wild salmon that was picked at by a bear, drink tea that are made out of catkins while discussing fatherhood and fears and Gryll's habit of drinking urine.
On the more serious note, Barack Obama told Bear Grylls that "one of the main purposes of our trip is to highlight the effects of climate change and what's happening on the planet."
The very odd pair spent the day on the cold Alaskan wilderness trekking to Kenai Fjords National Park's Exit Glacier.
The said glacier has melted and retreated 187 feet in just the past year. The president went there to also see the impact firsthand.
"He said it was one of the best days of his presidency," Grylls told reporters on Monday, according to Reuters. "There were times along the route I had to pinch myself and think, actually, this is the president of America'."
