The company behind the 30 video games compilation finally speaks up about possible Wii U version.

Last week, rumors about "Rare Replay" could land on Nintendo Wii U consoles circulated online.

This speculation sparked when Microsoft announced "Minecraft" Wii U version.

A Twitter fan goes by the name Garu_ssb asked Microsoft if there's a possibility of "Rare Play" on the aforementioned console.

Microsoft responded that he should "suggest" that to Rare. It was followed by an official statement from the Redmond tech giant saying, "we have no information of any games coming to the Wii U other than Minecraft," Destructoid reported.

"Rare Replay" fans are in high hopes that there a possible Wii U version could be announced. As per the 30 combined games, 16 of them were supported by Nintendo consoles, Siliconera added.

However, to put an end to different speculations whether it'll come on Wii U or not. Rare took to Twitter to answer fans queries.

"Lots of Qs about Wii U! But #RareReplay's exclusive to Xbox One, and we're hard at work on "Sea of Thieves." Appreciate the enthusiasm though," Rare Ltd. Wrote.

Reportedly, Rare has been working hard on "Sea of Thieves." But details of the game will be more likely revealed next year.

Though it was described as the "most ambitious," the upcoming title could be Rare's best game so far. That according to Xbox executive Kudo Tsunodo, who is working on HoloLense, Gamespot reported.

"I think with Sea of Thieves, what you're really going to see as you find out more about the game is that it's also about allowing people to create their own gaming memories" he said.

"It's about enabling people to create their own stories through limitless possibilities, and I think that's what Rare has always done a great job of historically; it is great at creating these super emotional memories and attachments that people have to games."
