"Dragon Ball Super" will be skipping one weekend from airing on Fuji TV.
The upcoming three episodes' titles along with their airing dates are finally revealed. Episode 24 titled "Shock! Goku vs Frieza, is the result of my training" will be out this weekend.
After the wretched ending of episode 23 that seen the passing of a Z fighter, the upcoming episode will see Goku's transform into a different Super Saiyan form, as per the trailer published.
Though it is expected to be an action packed episode. Its plot revealed, this episode marks the ultimate battle of Goku and Frieza. But least expected it will "only be escalation shots without anyone taking over," Attack of the Fanboy reported.
The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 24 will be aired on Dec. 20. It will be followed by episode 25 on Dec. 27. Its title wasn't revealed. But its plot indicates that this episode starts the transformation of Goku and Frieza in a more powerful form.
Goku's transformation will trigger Frieza to transform in his blue form, based from "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" movie.
If this information from Attack of the Fanboy is accurate, "Dragon Ball Super" fans will miss episode 26. Reportedly, the series will get a week of from airing. The next episode airs Jan. 10.
Meanwhile, rumored plots for episode 24 and 25 surfaced. It includes new characters joining the cast and a battle of the two "rivaling universe,"Bitbag reported.
"According to reports, a five-on-five tournament between the two opposite universes (universe 6 and universe 7) will start in the upcoming episodes," Bitbag added.
"Universe 6, the side of Lord Beerus' will battle for the Super Dragon Balls, while Lord Champa from universe 7 will fight to keep universe 7's Earth. This would force the fighters from Earth to join forces with Lord Beerus and fight to protect the planet."
