Fans are really anticipating for Season 2 of the popular Netflix drama "Narcos."
Just like the streaming company's predecessors "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black," the drama became an instantly huge success right out of the gate. But in the series, will Pablo Escobar ever change?
"Narcos" is a Netflix series that follows the story of a Colombian drug lord named Pablo Escobar. In the first season of the series, the show was circling around the history of Escobar and the road to his rise, influence and power on the drug industry.
Many fans have expressed their love for "Narcos," some for its on-site filming in Colombia up to the odd decision to have the narrative of the story spoken like a true gringo.
And just like that, "Narcos" will have a season 2 as the series has been renewed early September of this year, according to Fansided. And ever since the announcement of the second season, there has been a very immeasurable amount of buzz as to when it will hit Netflix.
Aside from that, there are also speculations that the second season will focus more on the downfall of Escobar, played by Wagner Moura, and a narrtive shift towards DEA operations somewhere across the globe.
In a report by Christian Post, Moura took to Reddit to reveal some interesting teasers for season 2 of "Narcos," keeping fans of the show glued to their seats.
He said on one of the Reddit posts, "I really enjoyed doing the last scenes in La Catedral during the final episodes...In those episodes it was a different Pablo, he had changed... and that aims to what we are doing in the second season."
In an interview with The Guardian, he said "Listen, the bad guys, the good guys, they have something in common: they are human beings. Human beings who, depending on the context, may drop their ethical stance to get the job done ... This is what happens in real life."
