A new iPhone 6 rumor has hit the Internet. Apple is supposedly committed to a 4.8-inch screen size for its new iPhone, according to GottaBeMobile. In addition, the company plans to focus on using new versions of the iPhone 5S features on the upcoming smartphone.
As soon as 2014 began, iPhone 6 rumors started running rampant. The iPhone has a history of a half-step S model before the next numbered iPhone, so it's not surprising that the 5S took the scene first. It's therefore likely that iPhone 6 will take the stage officially during the latter half of 2014, according to TechRadar.
The most prevalent rumor to date, though, is that Apple will release two smartphone models yet again. Several publications have stated that Apple is currently testing smartphone displays in two sizes for two new phones, according to Laptop. Yet the most recent information from AppleInsider states that Apple is going to deliver the 4.8-inch display.
The display isn't the only feature that the iPhone 6 will supposedly have. Apple will also add faster 802.11ac WiFi to the iPhone, which will match the WiFi on new Apple products and routers, according to GottaBeMobile. In addition, it's likely that Apple will use the 64-bit processor, Touch ID and iBeacon in order to stand out and beat the competition.
That said, none of this information is yet confirmed. Yet the rumors are solidifying into something that's becoming more and more likely as the possible release date approaches. Whether we'll actually see these features on the new iPhone 6, though, remains to be seen.
