Ruby Rose and fiancée Phoebe Dahl have called it quits; the two have split after having been together for two years.
The "Orange is the New Black" star and British fashion designer Phoebe Dahl, who announced their engagement in March 2014 or three months after they dated, took to social media breaking their silence about the split.
On her Facebook page, 29-year old Ruby Rose posted a message about 27-year old Phoebe Dahl, which read, "Phoebe remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together."
"I'm a better person because of the time we shared. They say, 'It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.' I'm lucky to have had the chance to love her."
Ruby Rose also posted a direct tweet to Phoebe Dahl's clothing line's official Twitter account, saying, "@FAIRCLOTHSUPPLY remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together. I'm a better person because of all we shared."
Almost immediately, Phoebe Dahl replied to Ruby Rose's tweet and said, "@RubyRose you have brought to me my best and I will always love you. I can't wait to see what the future brings for us."
In a statement last Monday, according to Us Weekly, Phoebe Dahl's representative broke out the shocking news.
"After two wonderful years together, Ruby and I have decided to part ways," the statement said.
"While we still love each other and support each other in every way, it is our mutual decision to part ways. Our break is not the result of any media speculation, and we want nothing but the best for each other. Thank you for respecting our privacy in this very difficult time."
Dahl's representative added that the clothing designer has already moved out of Rose's home in Silver Lake at Los Angeles.
