Inbox by Gmail app simplifies the process of sharing travel plans and photos.
The update includes a feature called Trip Bundles which automatically pulls together all emails related to upcoming travel like flight booking confirmation, hotel accommodation and car rental. The most important information, like flight schedules, is placed on top so you will not miss it.
"The holidays are full of traveling, get-togethers and sharing memories. Now Inbox is making all of these things a bit easier, with an update to Trip Bundles and mobile attachments," Victor Anchidi, Google's Gmail software engineer, wrote on their Gmail Blog.
Users will be able to share these summaries with family and friends with a single tap to save time and effort.
"You've told us how much you love that Trip Bundles summarize all of the important info about your trip. So, starting this week, you'll be able to share those summaries with friends and family with one tap," Anchidin added.
The web giant said that many users have requested a "move to" menu which you can easily add emails to a trip.
Emails pertaining to the trips can also be viewed offline in cases you have no access to Wi-Fi during your travel.
Google's major update for the Gmail travel app also includes the ability to undo a message you just sent.
PC Mag reports that the app also includes a HotelTonight and Eat24 "so you can track your order or view booking information right from Inbox."
Holiday pictures are now easier to attach as the new Gmail travel app gives you quick access to recent photos and let you attach several photos at once.
The app was first launched in October 2014 but was only available by invitation. Now, the Inbox by Gmail is accessible to all iOS and Android users.
The Gmail travel app update comes in time for holiday to make your Christmas travels a little less stressful.
