Everything Kylie Jenner touches turns into gold.
Well if there's a modern day King Midas, it's certainly is her.
With just a minute following its release at lipkitbykylie.com website, every single one of the highly anticipated Kylie Jenner Lip Kit was sold out.
And while many beauty enthusiasts all over the world were left broken hearted, respected beauty blogger, Nikkie of NikkieTutorials revealed a rather controversial claim about the highly coveted liquid lipsticks.
First, she noticed the striking resemblance of Kylie Jenner Lip Kit shades namely, Dolce K, Candy K and True Brown K to famous indie makeup brand ColourPop's Ultra Matte's Clueless, Beeper and Limbo.
And as if the similarities are not controversial enough, Nikkie eventually blurted out that the lip kits Kylie Jenner is selling are just the exact same thing as ColourPop's only priced higher with her name on it.

While the now deleted post immediately raised eyebrows from all over the world, the youngest of the Jenner-Kardashian brood took to her Facebook to clarify the rumors.
hanging out with the owners at ColourPop... we don't have the same formula or exact colors but they are my friends and they do have some bomb ass products that I love. Check them out

While there are some who insisted that the formula is different, giving favor to Kylie Jenner Lip Kit, some felth like Jenner's explanation on Facebook only made her more guilty.
"Is she just posting this because everybody is comparing the colors to the dupes in color pop," Facebook user Maritza Reynoso commented on the photo.
Kylie Jenner Lip Kit was sold at $29, while ColourPop's famous Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick is just $6 a pop.
