Fans were left shock when Apryl Jones and Omarion decided to ditch VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" reunion special.
And while many are curious why, Jones explained that it's because they are both very busy with their child and Omarion's tour.
"We didn't go to the reunion because obviously [Omarion] was on tour and I was with him, with our child and it was just too much to get out to New York to do the reunion, so unfortunately we didn't make it," Apryl explained in an Essence magazine interview via Skype.
In that same interview, Apryl Jones also announced that they will not come back for next season.
She added, "But we're not going to do next season."
While it's not clear whether the couple left or fired from the show, it's highly noticeable that they are among the very few who seemed to have a success story as a couple.
"We've never been worried about the 'show curse' because when we walked into 'Love & Hip Hop' we were prepared for what they were going to put us in and they had a lot of respect for Omari and I," Apryl Jones said of her relationship. "We knew we would be okay walking in and walking out."
Furthermore, Apryl Jones is very thankful on how the showrunners and even the cast members of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" showed respect towards her.
"They had a lot of respect for me, she explained. "They never wanted to put me in anything the first season 'cause I was obviously pregnant so I stayed out of the drama" she said.
"In the second season they put me with a group of people but I got along with everyone. I don't like to gossip or be in other people's problems. There wasn't much that I was going to give even if I were to be put in those [dramatic] situations and [the producers] knew that.
The couple has also acknowledged how "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" played a pivotal role in relaunching Omarion's career after getting his first no. 1 song in years, titled "Post to Be" featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko.
