"Desperate Housewives" and "Telenovela" actress Eva Longoria will soon have a new husband in Jose Antonio Baston, president of Televisa, one of the biggest media company in Latin America.
The engagement was announced by Eva Longoria herself, through an Instagram photo herself and Baston kissing. The actress' hand rested on her husband-to-be's face, showing her gorgeous ring.
Ummmm so this happened...#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness," Eva Longoria wrote on Instagram.
According to E! Online, Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston were in Dubai for the Global Gift Gala at the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival when the billionaire popped the question. Longoria also shared a clip on her SnapChat account as they marveled at the beauty of the desert, having a picnic as they drank champagne and lounged on beautiful red rugs and plush couches. Prior to the announcement of their engagement, Eva Longoria posted a photo of herself and her husband-to-be, appearing to be dressed to the nines for the Global Gift Foundation event. "No words for this handsomeness!" Eva Longoria gushed over Jose Antonio Baston.
Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston started dating in 2013, squashing rumors of her on-and-off relationship with Eduardo Cruz.
"She's very happy, and he's crazy about her," a source for People.com said in 2013. "He's been sweeping her off her feet and courting her like a proper gentleman."
Eva Longoria's engagement to Jose Antonio Baston marks her third marriage. The "Desperate Housewives" star was previously married to entrepreneur Ernesto Arguello but broke up in August over "distance problems."
Meanwhile, Eva Longoria's first husband, NBA star Tony Parker is currently married to Axelle Francine and has a one-year-old son, Josh.
Longoria and Parker filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences."
