Nicki Minaj took to Instagram on Wednesday showing the huge diamond ring her boyfriend Meek Mill gave her on her birthday, which fans speculate to be an engagement ring; and while fans gave several congratulatory greetings, there were many who turned the topic on Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels.
On Dec. 9, Nicki Minaj posted on Instagram an image of the huge diamond ring Meek Mill gave her as a birthday present with the caption: "Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Lol. Love u @meekmill RANG finga whr da rock iiizzzzzzz"
So are they finally engaged? Hollywood Life, in its report, revealed that while Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill "are on the same page and will get married and they have a plan," no, they are not engaged yet.
When asked about the ring in a recent interview, Minaj confirmed, "Yeah. Meek gave me that. He and I are not engaged."
The "Anaconda" rapper further shared that it would take more rings before they get married. She said, "He said he would like to give me three rings before we get married. My birthday's coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday. So let's see what happens."
Meanwhile, the engagement rumors got fans looking towards Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, roasting the rapper by commenting diamond emojis in his Instagram page.

"Nicki gets engaged to Meek after what... Like a year maybe? I know Safaree gotta be sick lol," another fan tweeted.
