Good News for The Killers fans!
The American rock band will be playing its first show for next year in April at Las Vegas Arena.
Will the band finally work on a new album now that they are becoming more and more active again?
Fans were left worried following Dave Keuning's former statement seemingly insinuating that the band members are too busy with their solo careers and personal life to ever work together again.
However, frontman Brandon Flowers clarified the breakup rumors assuring fans that The Killers are "fine."
"I get it," Flowers explained to Rolling Stone after hearing rumors of breakup. "There are a couple of remarks made by Dave [Keuning], our guitar player, that made it sound a little bit more ominous than it really was. And so it makes people wonder. But, no, everything is fine."
However, while the 34-year-old frontman clarified the breakup rumors, he did admit that he is indeed working on a solo career as he shared his experience performing on the stage without his bandmates.
"I can't believe it's been five years," Flowers explained to Pop Crush . "Being onstage without them...it is different. I try to look for the similarities rather than dwell on the differences, because I need that comfort, I guess."
Brandon Flowers also explained how The Killers is not rushing things when it comes to a new album.
"I've been used to more of a polarizing situation, and that usually goes in my favor," he explained. "I think if somebody really hates it or people really love it, then it usually works out. But this time it's been a lot more positive and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing."
"I don't think that far! I don't know where The Killers are gonna be, and where our head space is gonna be after each record."
