Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed appears to be a perfect couple despite jealousy rumors on the "Twilight" actress' part.
Previously, it has been rumored that Nikki Reed is jealous of Ian Somerhalder's ex girlfriend, Nina Dobrev and basically anything that links to their TV show, "The Vampire Diaries."
Although Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed had successfully debunked these jealousy rumors through their cute Instagram posts together and their occasional gushing over eachother, reports now claim that the couple is having baby troubles - or lack thereof.
According to previous reports, Ian Somerhalder is now ready to be a father but Nikki Reed reportedly wants to prioritize her career for now.
In an interview with ET Online, Ian Somerhalder enthusiastically answered questions about the possibility of having babies.
"Oh, hell yes! Absolutely," Somerhalder said a few months ago. "You know, it's all about practice... It's not practice makes perfect - it's perfect practice."
"It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," Somerhalder added. "It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world -- but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it."
On the other hand, following Nina Dobrev leaving "The Vampire Diaries," the show has been moved to Friday night, which in primetime meant that the series is dying.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Ian Somerhalder finds it the perfect opportunity to leave the show and become a father. But it seems that Nikki Reed isn't on the same boat when it comes to starting a family.
"Nikki Reed was happy to marry Ian, but the baby plans have been tabled," the website read. "Nikki is focused on her career and is marginally successful thanks to her Twilight role... Reed won't be ending her chance at becoming an A-list celebrity with a career-ending pregnancy,"
Despite this, Nikki Reed still carried on their tradition of posting a sweet birthday greeting on Instagram for Ian Somerhalder on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
"You are my every dream brought to life," Nikki Reed wrote on Instagram. "Here is to the next 65 years together, holding hands, strolling through the woods, still learning, still listening. Happy happy birthday...I love you."
