Did Cindy Crawford Just Give George Clooney’s Wife Amal Alamuddin More Reason To Hate Her?

| By

If recent rumors can be believed, George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin is reportedly feeling quite threatened by Cindy Crawford.

With her husband, Rande Gerber, being business partners and best friends, however, they supposedly have no choice but to keep on interacting with each other.

According to a recent report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the international lawyer allegedly insulted Crawford with an off-hand comment about her looks during a dinner with the two couples.

"Amal joked that Cindy could be Caitlyn Jenner's twin," an insider supposedly said. "Then she burst into giggles, but Cindy was stone-faced."

The supermodel became so angry that she reportedly wanted to "chop her hair off and start wearing glasses."

However, Crawford's latest interview with Conan O'Brien might cause even more tension with George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin.

"George is very well-behaved now that he's married to the lovely Amal [Alamuddin]," she told the TV show host last Tuesday as reported by US Weekly. "But there was a time before he met Amal, that he and Rande had gone out, and they did ask me if I wanted to come, but it was a Sunday night and I stayed home with the kids."

Apparently, whenever her husband came home late he usually sleeps in the guest room to avoid waking their kids up.

"I got up because I wanted to make sure he was home safe, and I went in the guest room and I see Rande face down on the bed. And I'm like, 'Oh my God.' He still has his motorcycle boots on. And I'm like, 'Really?'" she continued, adding that she got on the bed and was shocked to see that it was actually Clooney sleeping there and not her husband.

"I don't know who was more shocked, me or George, because I've woken George out of a dead, slightly inebriated slumber," she further shared. "So, he was like, 'Oh, my God!' and I was like, 'Oh, my God!' And then I ran out . . . And I find Rande, and I wake him up. He was in our daughter's room. And I was like, 'Why is George in the guest room?'"

Could this cause conflict between George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin?

Apparently, the A-lister didn't think much of what happened.

US Weekly further reported that the "Tomorrowland" star merely shrugged off that little episode in another interview last October.

He thought what happened was funny, jokingly adding, "You know . . . she can't help herself."
