"No Man's Sky" showed off a slew of new videos recently which revealed a bit more about its gameplay.
First off, the recently-concluded PSX event yielded a new footage which featured no less than Hello Games' Sean Murray and Sony's Shuhei Yoshida talking about the game.
"The game is looking as beautiful as ever, and Murray seems more focused than usual on the question of what you can actually do in the game," PC Gamer said.
While much of what the PSX trailer showed has been seen already, Game Debate zeroed in on Murray's statement about "No Man's Sky" gameplay's focus.
"Starting from a totally randomized position in the universe, you'll be scavenging for supplies in order to build greater engines, taking you to even more star systems," the website said.
In the video, Murray said this will be important whether players choose to explore, pillage or destroy so they can "go further and further and get towards the center of the universe faster."
Elsewhere, Yoshida himself got to experience the procedurally-generated game himself.
Earlier this month, Hello Games also debuted a new trailer at The Game Awards where "NMS" won the Most Anticipated Game of 2016 Award. Check out the said trailer below:
"Portal is just one story that you can find yourself writing as you play 'No Man's Sky,'" the game's official website said. "It also reveals five ways you'll travel the galaxy: walking across the surface of planets, flying in their atmosphere, jetting into space, warping between systems and finding mysterious portals, which take you... somewhere..."
Hello Games also announced that the band 65daysofstatic, the ones behind the music on previous "NMS" trailers, will launch an album for the game.
There's never a shortage of "No Man's Sky" gameplay teases. Expect more until the game's release date sometime in June 2016.
