"The Division" alpha test is now live on Xbox One.
The game developer earlier annopunced that "The Division" alpha test is exclusive to Xbox One users who pre-ordered the game and has been chosen on "as needed basis."
The alpha test version will be available on Dec. 09 until Dec. 12, while all players who pre-ordered the game for different platforms will receive a beta test early next year, Tech Times reported.
"The Division Alpha is the first technical test phase of the game, and the chance for a select few to experience a pre-release version of the game before it launches. It serves as an important opportunity to make sure that the game is balanced and that the servers are tested to pave the way for a smooth launch. The Alpha isn't a full version of the game, and will only function during specific time frames," Ubisoft wrote on its blogpost.
Ubisoft further added, the "The Division" alpha version aims to test the game's online infrastructure and "gather feedback on everything from AI and weapon , balancing to technical performance" which will help them deliver a better gaming experience before the game releases on March 08, 2015. All feedbacks will be shared on a private forum for the alpha testers only.
Also, selected players are obliged to accept an in-game NDA not to: Live stream on Twitch, Youtube Gaming or any other streaming platform, capture or share gameplay content, post images or screenshots and discuss the Alpha.
Though players are committed not to violate the aforementioned, a player has reportedly posted a short gameplay clip on Twitter and took to Periscope to stream the footage of the game. But as of this writing the two clips leaked online has been taken down, according to Examiner.
