Sofia Vergara's wedding with Joe Mangianello was like a scene from a movie - extravagant, sophisticated with a lot of beautiful (not to mention famous) people!
And although the "Modern Family" star and TV host, Ellen Degeneres have always been good friends, the latter failed to attend the said occasion.
Sofia Vergara recently appeared on the "Ellen Degeneres Show" to talk about her big, white wedding with Joe Mangianello - a wedding that the talk show host failed to attend, which the "Modern Family" actress obviously didn't take well and repeatedly brought up throughout the show.
"You're not really sorry," Sofia Vergara said when Ellen Degeneres apologized for missing her wedding. "Why didn't you make a little more effort to go? It's not like they're not holding the production for you for one day,"
Degeneres went on to explain that she had to be in her show everyday, to which Vergara replied in jest: "She's talking really fast so I don't (understand),"
"I wanted you to come but I guess I wasn't good enough for you," Sofia Vergara said to Ellen Degeneres. "Were you intimidated because of all the dancing that was gonna go on there?"
The "Hot Pursuit" actress later ascribed her own wedding to a fairytale, revealing that the after party went on until 6 AM and that the guests were "tipsy" by the end of it.
Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello's wedding was held at the Breakers Resort in Florida, wherein more or less 400 people were invited, including A-list celebrities like Channing Tatum, Reese Witherspoon.
"True Blood" cast members, Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were also there as well as the cast of "Modern Family" such as Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter.
Sofia Vergara and Joe Mangianello met in 2014 at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Vergara was still engaged then to entrepreneur Nick Loeb, whom she is currently in a legal battle with over her frozen embryos.
Soon after Sofia Vergara's engagement with Nick Loeb was called off, however, Joe Mangianello asked for the actress' phone number through her "Modern Family" co-star, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and invited her out to dinner, E! Online reported.
