Fans would have to wait two years before they get to see Chris Pratt and the rest of his team in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."
And while waiting, the new galaxy dimension first introduced to Marvel's Cinematic Universe last year, is now reportedly gearing up as the sequel is already set to commence shooting at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, GA in February next year.
And in an interview with Digital Spy, Chris Pratt, who plays the lead role Star-Lord, revealed that he's already talking to James Gunn as they discuss details about the sequel.
"We've talked a little," Pratt revealed when asked if director James Gunn is already working on the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2."
The 36-year-old "Jurassic World" star also added that there are already a list of songs included in his "Awesome Mix Vol. 2."
"I know some of the songs that are going to be on Awesome Mix Vol 2," Chris Pratt revealed.
Furthermore, Pratt teased fans of what to expect on "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" plot.
"What I will say is that [Gunn's] pitch and his ideas legitimately put tears in my eyes. It is so good, it's so good. I can not wait to get started on it and I can not wait for people to see what he's going to pull off with this second movie."
"It's so big and so good," Pratt exclaimed.
"From what I understand, Marvel [heard Gunn's pitch] and they said nothing. [It] was that perfect. There was no micromanaging of the idea. They just love it so much they didn't have any notes for it. It's going to be remarkable."
Karen Gillan on the other hand, revealed how "GOTG 2" will delve deep into the relationship between her character, Nebula and Zoe Saldana's Gamora in her interview with Comic Book Resources.
"I think what I'm really excited about it delving into the sisterly relationship between Gamora and Nebula," she quipped. "I think that we're going to see a little bit more of that, and it's going to be a bit more fleshed out."
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" release date is set on May 5, 2017.
