Several fans still believed that Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen were more than just friends even after Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's sister cleared up the rumors in previous interview.
However, Star Magazine reported that the relationship did happen but ended early because of the publicity it gained.
"I mean, we definitely are friends and we've known each other for about four years. And we happened to be at a restaurant at a wrong time having dinner," she said, after vehemently denying the dating rumors.
According to recent accounts, however, the alleged couple really did date while filming.
They reportedly got along well and started dating while they were filming the Hank Williams biopic, "I Saw The Light." However, after the production wrapped up, so did their relationship.
The "Avengers" actress' reluctance in making the romance public allegedly disappointed the "Thor" star immensely, according to Star Magazine (via Classicalite). Hiddleston reportedly realized that he wanted a girlfriend that would not be scared of being seen with him in public.
An insider revealed, however, that Olsen had a reason for not wanting a new relationship to come out so soon after her engagement with Boyd Holbrook ended.
"Elizabeth's so focused on her career," the source reportedly revealed. "She wasn't sure she could handle a serious relationship right now."
Fans can determine if Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen's romance really did heat up during "I Saw The Light" filming when it hits cinemas soon. Critics already noticed this palpable chemistry as husband and wife in the biography.
Not only will fans see their chemistry, they can also see the Internet darling singing his heart out as the legendary country singer Hank Williams.
