Model-actress Emily Ratajkowski and Christy Dawn's limited edition "Emily Dress" collaboration has proven a hit and is almost sold out.
Only 75 examples of the Emily Dress (seen above) were made available upon its launch Monday, Dec. 7.
The "Gone Girl" star took to Twitter saying burgundy is already sold out. The good news however is that the dress' four other color palettes - mustard, black floral, blush and powder blue - are still available. As of this writing though, only a few of them remain.
According to Elle, Ratajkowski reached out to designer friend Christy Dawn Petersen and came up with "a universally flattering fit-and-flare mini dress with a square neckline and belled sleeves."
Retailing for $250 at christydawn.com, the publication said 25 percent of the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood.
"I've always been interested in designing and creating clothes for women by women that are unique and flattering," the 24-year-old said (via Pop Sugar). "Teaming up with Christy, an amazing friend, mother and entrepreneur, was an ideal situation."
As for how the Emily Dress turned out, Ratajkowski she "couldn't [have been] happier" and said she was "thrilled" that they're helping Planned Parenthood.
Petersen praised Emily Ratajkowski on their collaboration.
"Collaborating with Emily has been wonderful," she said, as quoted by InStyle. "She has an exceptional eye and she's really good at communicating her vision."
"We both value the impact of our social and environmental footprint. It is nice to work with another strong woman who cares just as much about process as she does about product."
According to WWD, Christy Dawn's dresses are made from deadstock fabrics sourced by Petersen herself. The small company reportedly has a loyal following which includes Taylor Swift, Erin Wasson and Brooklyn Decker.
Petersen's last collaboration was with Langley Fox Hemingway during the launch of her dress line two years ago, per the website.
