While avid followers of VH1's reality show, "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" were almost certain that Nikko Smith's ex-wife, Margeaux Simms and new girlfriend Merika Pelmiste are returning for another season, a shocking revelation proved otherwise.
Apparently, the couple was fired from the show and Margeaux is reportedly implying that it had something to do with her "gay relationship."
According to TVDeets, Margeaux's recent interview with TMZ is clearly implying that there's something very shady going on.
"But, in a new interview with TMZ, Margeaux pretty much blames the network for firing her and says that it all has to do with how serious her relationship with Merike has gotten," TVDeets noted.
The showrunners have reportedly denied the two ladies of an explanation as to why they were fired from the show, other than saying that they don't need them for the next season anymore.
"I don't really know why. We were really given no explanation. But, you know, what are you supposed to think?" Simms said in an interview with TMZ.
And while there have been viewers who accused Margeaux of fame whoring her relationship with Palmiste, she explained that it's not the case and never will be.
"I'm in the middle of a divorce with Nikko and then I exit with my girlfriend. We wanna get married and have kids. This is not some fake relationship for TV," Simms explained
And while she admitted that they were fired from "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" Margeaux also revealed that they really haven't been released from their contracts.
"Yeah, we wanna move on. We have other things that we're doing. We have other things that are going on. We just ... I don't know. I guess reality TV is a crazy world," Simms said.
VH1, on the other hand, has yet to comment on the said news.
