After deciding not to join VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" reunion special, rumors of Apryl Jones and Omarion leaving the reality show immediately sparked.
While Apryl previously explained that it was due to her singer boyfriend's tour, she also confirmed that they have no further intentions of returning to "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" for another season.
"We didn't go to the reunion because obviously [Omarion] was on tour and I was with him, with our child and it was just too much to get out to New York to do the reunion, so unfortunately we didn't make it," Apryl explained in an Essence magazine interview via Skype.
She added, "But we're not going to do next season."
While most couples who joined reality show will most likely leave with a broken heart, Omarion and Apryl Jones are just one of the very few who shares a success story.
"We've never been worried about the 'show curse' because when we walked into 'Love & Hip Hop' we were prepared for what they were going to put us in and they had a lot of respect for Omari and I," Apryl Jones said of her relationship. "We knew we would be okay walking in and walking out."
And while most of the cast members of the reality show were seen throwing shade at each other, it's worth mentioning how Apryl Jones has exemplary avoided such petty drama.
"They had a lot of respect for me, she explained. "They never wanted to put me in anything the first season 'cause I was obviously pregnant so I stayed out of the drama" she said.
"In the second season they put me with a group of people but I got along with everyone. I don't like to gossip or be in other people's problems. There wasn't much that I was going to give even if I were to be put in those [dramatic] situations and [the producers] knew that.
"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" also played a great role in relaunching Omarion's career by having been able to get his first no. 1 song in years, titled "Post to Be" featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko.
Apryl Jones on the other hand, is also trying her luck in the music industry. While waiting for her baby to arrive, Jones confirmed that she's been hanging out in the studio trying to "find my sound."
