A few weeks ago, the 23-year-old singer bumped into the 22-year-old boyband member at a post party for the American Music Awards and thought they'd catch up over a nice sushi meal at the same venue.
Jelena fans were worried that the two are hooking up, but an insider told US Magazine that they are just strictly friends. However, it seems that their friendship has developed into something more serious. Just recently, the "Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker was caught locking lips with the One Direction member at the 35th birthday bash of Channing Tatum's wife Jenna.
"Niall and Selena were seen kissing in the middle of the club, in front of everyone," an eyewitness told Us Weekly. A separate source claimed that the new couple was side by side all evening. "Niall and Selena definitely seemed very close and like they were together," their insider said.
"Niall got there first with his bodyguard, then the next thing I know, I looked over and Selena was there. They were very close together, talking and whispering," their source added.
Since they didn't arrive together, then it means that they will most likely leave separately as well but that was not the case.
"Selena and Niall left together," their source revealed. "She grabbed his arm on the way out and held onto it." One person who will be greatly affected by this news is Justin Bieber who appeared to be missing his ex-girlfriend.
After reports on Selena Gomez and Niall Horan came out, the 21-year-old singer posted a photo of himself with his former lover on Instagram.
A week before that, the "What Do You Mean?" hitmaker also shared a photo of the songstress riding an ATV with him.
Maybe Justin Bieber is trying his best to win back Selena Gomez, but it seems that she already decided that Niall Horan deserves her love more than her ex-boyfriend.
