She got even scarier after getting dipped in the Lazarus Pit, unleashing her blood lust. When Caity Lotz joins "Legends of Tomorrow" cast, will her character still be the same?
The actress said the White Canary's emotional state will improve in the new CW superhero series.
"She's a little more easy going, a little more lighthearted," Lotz told Entertainment Weekly.
"She's seen it all. That has brought a little bit of a lightness to her. She's not quite as heavy as she was. She can't really take everything so seriously anymore."
The sister of Black Canary returned in "Arrow" season 4 episode five but not entirely. When she rose from the Lazarus Pit in an earlier episode, her soul was not with her. Thanks to Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan), her bloodlust and feral state mellowed down. After that, Sarah left the city to be alone and find her purpose.
In another interview, Lotz said there is another person who will help Sarah find her purpose. He is Arthur Darvil''s Rip Hunter who is also part of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast.
"Sara is looking for a purpose," Lotz told Entertainment Weekly in an interview last month.
"She's been trying to stay away from everyone and everything, but it's like, then why are you living life if it's not for relationships with people? What's the purpose? Sara is looking for a purpose, and that's what Rip Hunter offers her."
Rip Hunter is a time-traveling hero from the 25th century who will recruit Sarah and other friends and foes of Flash (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) to stop Vandal Savage.
Other parts of "Legends of Tomorrow" cast are Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Franz Drameh, Falk Hentschel, Dominic Purcell, and Ciara Renee.
"Legends of Tomorrow" synopsis:
"Rip Hunter travels back in time to the present day where he brings together a team of heroes and villains in an attempt to prevent Vandal Savage from destroying the world and time itself."
