A lot of names have been dropped in selection of opponent for Manny Pacquiao's next fight. Among them are new foes Amir Khan and Terrence Crawford.
These two younger boxers might not get the chance to fight the former pound-for-pound king though.
According to reports from Pacman's home country the Philippines, he is more likely to choose an opponent he already fought twice.
Do not be surprised if you see Timothy Bradley on the other corner of Manny Pacquiao's next fight. Desert Sun says reports from the Philippine are suggesting the current WBO Welterweight is emerging as the top choice for Pacman's camp.
"Turns out Pacquiao was thinking about it, and after nearly a month of contemplation, the former pound-for-pound king has chosen Bradley as his next opponent, according to The Philippine Star in Manila," it said.
Pacquiao and Bradley figured in two fights twice in the past, both with controversial ending. The first one was one by the American but his opponent and critics argued it should have been the other way around.
The second one was won by Pacquiao via judges' decision but critics argued the fight was closer than the first one and Bradley should have won.
Bradley's name got dragged into conversation for Manny Pacquiao's next fight after the latter's trainer Freddie Roach spoke about how cocky the American's trainer is.
"This guy waits for the camera to get on him... some of the fans really enjoy that [stuff]," Roach said as per report by Los Angeles Times. "He thinks his fighter can beat my fighter because of him. I'd like to show him he can't."
Bradley was directly asked about this on TV and he did not dodge the challenge.
"I heard the name Manny Pacquiao mentioned, would you entertain another fight against Manny Pacquiao?" his co-host asked him during metroPCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV to which he replied.
"I got a little experience with Manny Pacquiao. We got over the match. We probably can do, probably on April for his last fight. Absolutely. Why not? I think it would be fun?"
