Fifth Harmony Splitting Up? Dinah Jane Reveals Group To ‘Go Separate Ways’

| By

Fifth Harmony, through the years, has made a name for their own with chart-topping hits, successful debut album, sold-out tours and a number of awards; but in a shocking revelation, 5H member recently opened up about the possibility of the group splitting up in the near future.

Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui recently sat down for an interview with EuropaFM, where they entertained questions from fans.

And in an unexpected answer to a question about where they see themselves five years from today, Fifth Harmony member Dinah Jane said she sees the group "going separate ways."

"We've been together for basically three years now and looking back... we're very, very happy with where we're right now," Dinah Jane told EuropaFM (via MTV.com).

Then she went on saying, "But from here on out, we wanna hopefully win a couple more awards together... maybe build more music together as well."

And then she dropped the bomb: "But I feel like we'll probably go our separate ways later on. That's the truth."

Hearing Dinah's comment, the other Fifth Harmony members did not have much reactions.

On September of this year, 5H member Camila Cabello also hinted about a probable split on an interview for Latina magazine.

"Honestly, I think we all do," Camila told Latina magazine whether they think the group would split up. "We'd be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it's harder."

Fifth Harmony is currently working on their sophomore album, which they promised would be more mature and more reflective of them as grown-up women. Producer Harmony Samuels, in an interview with Idolator last July, said that Fifth Harmony's new album is "more soulful, a little bit more quirky and definitely a bit more Destiny's Child-esque."
