Jon Snow’s Death Just Bran’s Premonition? Kit Harington Back In New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Teaser!

| By

HBO surprised fans when a teaser featuring Jon Snow was released earlier this week.

Kit Harington had tried his best to keep his fate in the show as "dead" as possible in past interviews. However, fans who closely followed the series' progress would know that he was spotted looking very much alive while filming for a mysterious scene in "Game Of Thrones" season 6.

The short teaser went through Jon's life until the night he was betrayed by his own men.

"We watch. We listen. And we remember. The past has already returned. The ink is dry," the voice of the three-eyed raven can be heard as an overview before a montage of the Stark family's demise was shown.

An interesting bit in the video, however, is Bran's sudden appearance toward the end. With pure white eyes, he seemed to be having a vision or taking over a body.

Could he be seeing his brother's fate? Or could he be seeing a premonition of Jon's death before it actually happened?

Moreover, Bran's vague statement also seemed to be a line uttered after seeing something about the future.

"They don't know what's coming," he said. Followers of the show, who weren't privy to information from avid fans would be surprised to know that the trailer focused mainly on the supposedly dead Jon Snow.

Fans of Jon Snow have seen Kit Harington around Belfast. He was even photographed in costume as he filmed for a scene with Melisandre just a couple of feet away, despite continuously denying his involvement in the series' future episodes.

Meanwhile, The Independent theorized that Jon was indeed killed on the Wall but will be resurrected to redeem his family.

The Starks, whose ancestors helped keep the White Walkers by building the Wall, have been murdered, banished, tortured or executed despite being one of the most good-natured family in "Game Of Thrones."

The Week also suggested that Ned Stark's Valyrian steel sword, which was melted down into two, could be an important weapon for the sixth season. Jon was able to kill a white walker using the sword given to him by the previous Lord Commander. He might go on a hunt to look for his father's sword.

With several Jon Snow theories being debated, perhaps Kit Harington could out of the blue finally admit his character's non-death to his fans.
