Michael Buble and Psy are going head to head this Holiday season with their newly released albums.
The "Everything" crooner released another Christmas album this year, but the South Korean singer is challenging the charts with his "7th Album."
When asked what he thought of the song, however, Buble admitted that he wasn't particularly a huge fan of "Daddy."
"It makes me sad," he told NBC's Today Show in an aired interview. "I don't want to live in this world anymore."
Apparently, he's more than a little disappointed at the eccentric musician's new offering.
"If this is what we have to look forward to at the Grammy's next year, I'm out. Out," he lamented, which earned both gasps and praise from the hosts.
This declaration, however, did not endear him to netizens and Kpop fans who actually liked the "Gangnam Style" singer.
"Guess Michael Buble can continue to be sad and not part of this world #KPOP," a Twitter user posted on the microblogging site.
"If Michael Buble thinks PSY's Daddy is the worst he evidently hasn't listened to his own albums," another boldly said.
Another noted that the "Gentleman" singer's target audience isn't even the American audience but his own countrymen,
"[Buble] Dissing [PSY] about his music, news flash his music is targeted at the Korean demographic. Always has been always will be," he tweeted, while another pointed out that "he's probably just pissed that PSY is gonna be more relevant this Christmas than him."
Psy released his new album along with two new music videos, "Daddy" and "Napal Baji," earlier this week. The latter, which features Kpop star CL from 2NE1, has gained more than 25 million views four days after release.
As an apology to Psy, Buble posted a video of his son dancing to "Daddy" on Instagram.
"What can I say? He'd rather listen to this than his daddy," he captioned the clip, which showed his three-year-old son dancing to Psy's song.
