Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux should have wonderful memories of their honeymoon, but it seems that their romantic vacation has turned into a nightmare.
A few weeks ago, there were reports that one of their friends mysteriously died in Bora Bora.
Carmel Musgrove, who is the assistant of film producer Joel Silver, died of drowning while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
"Now Jen's beautiful memories of her honeymoon are turning into a horror," an insider told Radar Online. "The authorities are trying to determine where the drugs her friend consumed before her death came from."
However, Aniston's publicist Stephen Huvane revealed that what happened was just a coincidence. "Her honeymoon was well over, and she was already back in Los Angeles when this horrible tragedy occurred," he said.
Maybe Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were just trying to cover up the bad things that happened during their honeymoon. A few months ago, the 44-year-old actor revealed that they had a fantastic honeymoon. He also explained why they chose to spent that special moment with friends.
"We had thought about it; we could just do a normal honeymoon, or we could go with some friends, keep the party going, relax, and have fun," he told Extra TV. "It was really special, it was really beautiful." Just recently, "The Leftovers" star made a shocking revelation and he never mentioned about it for months.
Theroux confessed to hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan that he almost died of drowning while on a scuba diving expedition during their honeymoon. According to MSN, his first day of diving classes went all good, but the second day was a nightmare.
The Hollywood actor motioned to his instructor that he was almost out of oxygen, but the French diving instructor told him to continue swimming so he went deep down. Justin's friend thought he was about to die, but the instructor gave him an emergency respirator.
"Now, I'm like coughing and panicking," he recalled. "It's not a great feeling." The actor thought that this was all planned. "Your brain goes into a crazy place," he said. "Oh my God, this is some plot to kill me." Since then, the "Zoolander 2" writer has stopped scuba diving.
With all the unfortunate incidents that occurred during Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's honeymoon would make anyone think that their honeymoon was cursed - but thankfully, the actor was saved.
