George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin has been pitted against the actor's female friends in the industry several times by tabloids in the one year that they've been hitched.
Among all the women in her husband's life, however, she's reportedly the most in conflict with Cindy Crawford.
The supermodel, who is also the wife of Clooney's best friend and business partner, reportedly became furious with the UN attorney when she compared her looks to Caitlyn Jenner.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin were out dining with Crawford and her husband Randy Gerber when Alamuddin threw the allegedly offensive joke. A fellow customer supposedly heard the exchange.
"Amal joked that Cindy could be Caitlyn Jenner's twin," Star Magazine reported. "Then she burst into giggles, but Cindy was stone-faced."
CDL noted that the comment might have been said without malice and something else might have made her laugh. Nevertheless, Alamuddin's statement reportedly made her extremely annoyed and it even prompted her to think of having a makeover.
"She wants to chop he hair off and start wearing glasses," the gossip site further stated. "She doesn't ever want to be mistaken for Caitlyn again!"
The gossip site further theorized that this mishap could cause tension between Clooney and Gerber.
On the other hand, Alamuddin got the vote of approval from another of Clooney's close friends. Sandra Bullock couldn't be happier with the choice that her "Gravity" co-star made.
"I knew that George had found the right person," she told Italian magazine IO Donna.
"He made the right choice and so did Amal, they prove that you have to resist to the pressure of a world that wants to see you married."
Even before George Clooney made Amal Alamuddin his wife, Bullock reportedly already though they were perfect for each other.
However, the love match reportedly didn't make her want to get married again.
