'Arrow' Season 4 Spoiler: Olicity Going To Be Broken Up? EP Hints Of Heavy Consequences

| By

Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) somehow got away from his terrible decision to keep a secret from girlfriend Felicity Smoak, thanks to the time travel Flash did while Vandal Savage erases everyone in the city through his magical/mystical cane during their fight in the church.

However, that's not the end of it. "Arrow" season 4 spoiler from executive producer Wendy Mericle hints dark skies are still there cloud the couple.

"It's definitely going to come to a head in the middle of the season," Mericle said of the appearance of Oliver's son in "The Flash" - "Arrow" crossover episode as reported by Comicbook.com.

"I can't tell you exactly how that's going to happen. But, obviously for the arc of Oliver and Felicity's relationship this season, the fact that he's keeping this from her-true to what we've done on the show, if there's a secret somewhere, it's going to come out and it's going to have some serious consequences."

This drama involving Olicity also excites Mericle.

"We're really excited about how that's going to change things and it's really going to raise the stakes and throw some wrenches into the works of their relationship - which so far this season has been pretty smooth sailing," she said when asked for more "Arrow" season 4 spoiler. "True to form, we're going to really mine that. There'll be some fallout for both of them."

For those who cannot follow, the son who Oliver tried to track is already around nine years old. He fathered him through a college girlfriend who his mother Moira sent away as revealed in the second season of CW Network TV series. His name is William, not Connor like in the comics.

The show returns next week for its mid-season finale called "Dark Waters."

"After the city is attacked again, Oliver makes a bold move against HIVE. Malcolm (John Barrowman) checks in on Thea (Willa Holland) and leaves her with a warning. Things take a horrible turn when Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) retaliates in a brutal manner at Oliver's mayoral holiday party."
